Pollinator Pathway Stamford owes a debt of gratitude to the dozens of volunteers who worked thousands of hours transforming three city park gardens from plots of overgrown invasive weeds and vines to beautiful pesticide-free corridors of native plants, shrubs and trees. This fall leave the leaves which provide essential nutrients to feed micro-organisms in your soil. Also leave stems for overwintering pollinators. A must-remove invasive species to keep a lookout for: Porcelain Berry. The Bartlett Arboretum will offer a course for those interested in becoming a licensed arborist.
