The July newsletter is buzzing with  information: Resources, tips and tricks for your summer pollinator garden. Bucket of Doom as a safe alternative to mosquito pest management. Where to go for your plant questions--the UCONN Master Gardener Free Plant Clinic. Upcoming dates for volunteering with Pollinator Pathway Stamford (PPS) in local parks. News about a micro-grant PPS received from the City of Stamford. Dreadful news about a super aggressive invasive species, Japanese Knotweed and what you can do about it. We will take up an urgent matter with our state legislators next year, as they failed to pass important restrictions around neonicitoids, a neurotoxic pesticide harmful to bees and other pollinators.
