The Brookside Wander is the product of a partnership between the Emerson Resort & Spa and the Catskill Streams Buffer Initiative (CSBI), the Department of Environmental Protection, and its partners, the Ulster County Soil & Water Conservation District and Cornell Cooperative Extension. To create this pollinator meadow and stream buffer, it has been planted with all-native trees, shrubs and plants, part of ongoing local efforts to reduce erosion and the proliferation of invasive plants, and enhance the habitat for wildlife.
