5340 Main Rd

2500 Square feet. It's a long row in a former hay field about 8-10' wide. It was supposed to be mixed native wildflowers but ithe ruebeckia hirta really took over. I'm planning to do another long row about the same size of mixed native wildflowers (no rudbeckia hirta this time) but it takes a few years just to get rid of most of the hay/grass seed bank so that the wildflowers have a chance. I def want to do some Asclepias tuberosa (Butterfly Milkweed) for the monarchs and others. (In the photo, the field beyond is an organic farm.)
