I manage six small, urban demonstration gardens for pollinator and wildlife habitat at our home: hellstrip, front-part sun, front-shade, entry full-sun sharply drained, and entry part-sun moist, back yard and north, shade garden. These areas demonstrate various aspects of: dramatically less lawn, substantially more native plants, the growing and cycling of food/soil, no use of pesti-, rodenti-, insecticides, and dramatically less plastic use.
